Vetta Presents The Big Spaghetti at the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival 2021 

Vetta is proud to present The Big Spaghetti as part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival on 28-29 August at the Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne.⁠

The Big Spaghetti is taking pasta back to its street-food origins in a big stand-up event that combines the bustle of hawker markets with the family-friendly and community ethos of Italian street fairs in a celebration of every strand of spaghetti and every forkful of cacio e pepe. ⁠

Throw in some live music, talks and demonstrations from guest chefs, a pasta playground for the kids and a healthy splash of wine for good measure and you’ve got a real mambo Italiano on your hands.⁠

Vetta will be offering FREE showbags of pasta and flour free for the first 500 visitors to drop by the Vetta stand each day on 28 & 29 August from 11am.⁠

Join some of Australia’s very best Italian eateries and bars at this feast for the whole family.⁠

Featuring 20 great pasta dishes across 10 stalls from the likes of:

• Al Dente
• Cafe Paci
• Lagotto
• Marameo
• Massi
• Park Street Pasta
• Pastore
• Tipo 00
• Trattoria Emilia
• and more, with cocktails by Bar Americano 

Plus prosecco, pinot grigio, arneis, Nonna Gisella sangiovese, La Volpe nebbiolo and brachetto from King Valley champions of Italian winemaking, Pizzini.

The Big Spaghetti takes place in E Shed and Queen Street at @vicmarket on the second weekend of the Winter Edition. Entry is free, with food and drinks available to purchase from bars and pop-up stalls from 11 am to 8 pm on Saturday 28 August and 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday 29 August (or until sold out). The event is cashless, with contactless payments thanks to Mr Yum; please bring along your credit/debit card.⁠
